This ski-tour makes you discover the remarkable glaciers and off-ski slopes of the Vanoise mountains.
On skis, we will skin up and ski down some passes and glacier summits, for example the summits of Grande Aiguille rousse (3482 m) and Galise (3343 m), the Gros Cavall and Grand Cocor, so and so…
Vanoise is probably one of the wildest and most beautiful wilderness areas in Europe. To the ski tourer and mountaineer, it’s a remote paradise!
Six days of intensive and highly rewarding ski-mountaineering crammed with big ascents and ‘out-there’ descents plus at least one night in one of the most stunning huts in the Alps! This tour is the jewel in the crown of the Vanoise area and is ideal for experienced ski tourers and mountaineers looking for a challenging yet highly rewarding week.
This is a rather difficult and very committed hut to hut ski-tour, in which we will skin up and ski some high passes and big glacier summits of the Eastern and central Vanoise range. We will ascend and ski down for example the summits of the Gébroulaz pass (col) and peak, Dôme de Chasseforêt, the Réchasse peak, sometimes even the Méan Martin, and the Pointe de la Sana before skiing down to Val d’Isère. . We will also enjoy the pleasure of the big off-piste skiing in virgin and protected spaces.
The key points of this week ski-tour
• We will do a lot of skiing, much more on the famous Chamonix-Zermatt HAUTE ROUTE!!
A drop in the heart of the massifs of Vanoise and Gran Paradiso (4061 m), several summits and glacier passes of more than 3 000 m.
• A magnificent panorama of glaciers in the scenery of the mythical Cervin and Mont Blanc 4810 m.
• A comfortable ski-tour, skiing every day with a light rucksack just loaded with our jackets and snacks, for a day tour.

skilled skiers, able to ski off-piste everywhere and in altitude (if you don’t know much about ski-touring, please ask first for our introduction course in Val d’Isère day ski-tours course)… This ski-tour includes A LOT OF SKIING and is accessible to any experienced ski-touring skier or off-piste skier. Need to be also compulsorily in good physical condition.

To take advantage completely of your ski-tour, we recommend strongly to practise a sports activity developing the endurance: walks of 20 km with minimum 400 m OR running a 1 hour x 2 or 3 times a week.
